One in Three People Like Watching TV with the Subtitles On?

Isn’t the entire reason that TV exists because everyone hates reading?

Believe it or not, according to a new survey, one out of three people say they usually keep the subtitles ON when they’re watching TV . . . and not to translate.  Like, people who speak English keep on English subtitles just because they like them.

57% of people say they usually watch TV with the subtitles off.

This whole “subtitles on” thing definitely seems like a younger phenomenon . . . 50% of people under 24 like subtitles, and so do 46% of people between 25 and 34.

The older you are, the less likely you are to use them.
