DVR Alert! Here’s What’s on TV Today

Did you know Americans watch the most TV? Of course we do – with like 300 different networks producing so many original shows it’d literally be impossible to find enough time to watch all of ’em.
But we’re gonna try. According to a study, people in North America watch more TV than anyone else in the world. We watch an average of four hours and three minutes a day, which is WELL above the worldwide average of just under three hours.

The study also found that American TV shows are the most popular worldwide. British shows are second. You can celebrate our achievement with some great new television.

New TV:

  • “Thursday Night Football” at 8:20 p.m. on the Fox.  The Carolina Panthers host the Atlanta Falcons.


  • The sixth season premiere of “Superstore” at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.


  • The seventh season finale of “Celebrity Family Feud” at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.


  • “Every Vote Counts: A Celebration of Democracy” at 9:00 p.m. on CBS.  Alicia Keys, America Ferrera and Kerry Washington host tonight’s voting reminder.


  • The second season finale of “Press Your Luck” at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.


  • “Match Game” at 10:00 p.m. on ABC.  This week’s panel is Joel McHale, Jane Krakowski, Jermaine Fowler, Caroline Rhea, Skylar Astin, and Retta.


  • “Watch What Happens Live” at 10:00 p.m. on Bravo.  Natalie Portman and Matthew McConaughey guest.
