UPDATE (June 21, 2023):
Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified two people found shot to death in a home in Huntertown on Sunday.
According to the coroner’s office, the two died in a murder-suicide in a residence on Shearwater Run, close to Carroll Road.
Arben Gllafce, an adult male, and Arjana Gllafce, an adult woman were identified as the deceased.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office released the following:
On Sunday, June 18th, 2023, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a man down in a residence in the 12000 hundred block of Shearwater Run, in Fort Wayne. First responders found two victims inside the residence and pronounced death at the scene.
The male victim was identified as Arben Gllafce, 49, White, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The female victim was identified as Arjana Gllafce, 48, White of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Notification has been made to the next of kin. The Cause of Death on Arben Gllafce has been determined to be Gunshot Wound and the Manner of Death is ruled a Suicide. The Cause of Death on Arjana Gllafce has been determined to be Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is ruled a Homicide.
Arjana Gllafce is the 13th Homicide for Allen County for 2023.
This incident is under investigation by the Allen County Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – A man and a woman have been found dead in a home in Huntertown in Allen County near Fort Wayne.
Another person called the police last evening saying medical care was needed at the address in the 12000 block of Shearwater Run.
Police have not said how the two died, but say there is no threat to the public. Autopsies will be performed.
The Allen County Sherriff’s Department released the following:
On June 18, 2023, at approximately 6:19 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were called to the 12000 block of Shearwater Run, Huntertown, Indiana, reference two people needing medical attention inside of a residence, after being located by a third party.
Officers and medics located two adults, one male and one female, with apparent injuries. Both individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the community.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death for each individual.
