Ohio House tables vote on Vaccine Fairness Bill

COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – A bill to allow people to opt-out of employer-mandated COVID-19 vaccine requirements is heading back to committee.

On Wednesday, the Ohio House tabled a vote on Bill 435, which would allow public and private sectors, except healthcare, to secure exemptions from vaccine mandates.

House Speaker Bob Cupp said the bill was tabled to allow members more time to review the legislation.

The bill is being opposed by several business groups, including the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
