BLUFFTON, Ind. (ADAMS) – School kids in Bluffton-Harrison schools will see a lot fewer ‘controversial topics’ in their classrooms.
On Monday, the school board approved a new policy aimed at keeping politics out of schools. Board Member Mike Murray says they hope the decision allows teachers and students to focus on learning.
The vote came after some parents in the school district in Wells County complained about a pride flag on the wall of one classroom. The teacher with the flag says she understands but disagrees with the policy.
