FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Lunch on the Square is back and organizers say it is better than ever for the 14th season in Downtown Fort Wayne.
You can take a break from the office or bring the family down to enjoy lunch at Freimann Square every Thursday, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., in June, July, and August.
The Downtown Improvement District released the following:
Enjoy a variety of unique foods and experience the summer heat with live music during one of Fort Wayne’s favorite lunch and entertainment series.
New to the event this year is “Lunch Means More,” an initiative to give back to a local nonprofit. Barnes & Thornburg LLP will match 15% of the sales from a weekly featured food provider at the event. The featured food provider will rotate each week and be announced publicly via social media @downtownfortwayne.com.
On Thursday, August 25, Barnes & Thornburg LLP will present a check for the total amount raised during the 13-week series. This year’s recipient is The Growing Lives Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on “empowering, educating, and uplifting students for a brighter future.”
