St. Elmo Steak House employee dies amid restaurant COVID outbreak

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A St. Elmo Steak House employee is dead. The death was reported to the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Monday, but that isn’t necessarily when the employee died.

The operator of the restaurant says the employee’s death occurred while the steakhouse was closed due to a COVID-19 staff outbreak.

Officials say the death did not happen at the downtown Indianapolis restaurant.
