Marion County health boss undecided about NCAA fans

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The top doctor in Marion County still isn’t sure if there will be fans at the Indiana-only March Madness next month.

Dr. Virginia Caine said the coronavirus numbers in and around Indianapolis are improving, but she said herd immunity to the virus is still months away.

Caine said things are “looking good,” but she’s not ready to lift restrictions on crowd sizes.
The first NCAA men’s’ basketball tournament game in Indianapolis is scheduled for about one month from now.
