INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – General Motors is looking to build ventilators at one of its Indiana plants to help fight the coronavirus outbreak.
GM supplier Twin City Die Castings Co. began discussions nine months ago when Ventec Life Systems sought to produce 150 ventilators per month.
That number has since grown to 200-thousand.
Twin City CEO Todd Olson said the company is confident in its ability to meet the necessary demand.
