IDOH reports another 10,000+ COVID-19 cases

UPDATE: July 26, 2022:

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – More Hoosiers are testing positive for COVID-19 amid a surge of the highly contagious omicron subvariant BA.5.

The Indiana Department of Health reports over 10,000 Indiana residents tested positive for the virus last week. 18 Hoosiers died of COVID-19 in the previous week.

As of Sunday, 756 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in the state.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – More Hoosiers are testing positive for COVID-19.

The Indiana Department of Health says over 10,000 Indiana residents got the virus last week. 25 people died.

This comes as the omicron subvariant known as BA.5 is the dominant strain across the U.S.
