The Allen County Coroner has identified the children who died in a mobile home fire off Dupont Road last week.
The coroner says that all four were siblings and died from smoke inhalation and thermal burns.
Right now, the manner of their deaths is still under investigation.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office released the following on Monday:
The autopsies have been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin refence for four victims found within their home in the 4700 block of Grassy Lane, in Fort Wayne, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at approximately 08:25 hours. The decedents are siblings and have been identified as Matthew Damron male, white, 10 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana; Johnnie Mann-Goff male, white 5 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jefferson Goff male, white, 3 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Rosalynn Goff 2 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a residential fire, finding the home to be engulfed in flames upon arrival. Once the fire was under control, the decedents were located within the residence and death was pronounced at the scene by Allen County Coroner’s Office.
Cause of Death for all decedent’s is Smoke Inhalation, and Thermal Burns, the Manner of Death is Pending Investigation.
The incident remains under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshall’s Office, the Fire Arson Specialized Team of Allen County, the Allen County Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – An investigation continues but there is no word what caused the mobile home fire that killed four children in Fort Wayne.
The fire broke out yesterday morning around 8:30 in Dupont Estates off Dupont Road.
Four adults who were inside the Grassy Lane trailer made it out injured but alive.
Neighbors reportedly say they tried to rescue the children, but couldn’t. Allen County’s Coroner has not identified the children or given their ages.
Fort Wayne police, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and the city’s fire department are investigating the fire.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 4705 Grassy Ln. Upon arrival of the first unit fire was found throughout the structure. Crews pulled lines to start extinguishing the fire and looking for ways to enter the structure. Crews battled hard and the fire was controlled at 08:56. Four adults were able to make it out, but four children were found deceased in the home. The fire is under investigation by the Allen County Police Dept. and the FWFD. Assisting at the scene were T.R.A.A., FWPD, Allen County PD, A.E.P.
