UPDATE (December 9, 2021):
There is a suspect, but not a motive for last week’s double murder in Fort Wayne. Police arrested 19-year-old Tre Zwieg early yesterday morning in Indianapolis.
Investigators say he shot and killed two people in a garage at a home on Cumberland Avenue, close to the Glenbrook Square Mall.
Detectives say they placed Zwieg at the murder scene by tracking his phone and social media accounts.
No one is saying what led up to the shootings.

UPDATE (December 7, 2021):
The Allen County Coroner has ruled the deaths of two men found off Cumberland Avenue early Friday as Homicides.
The coroner has identified the two as 16 and 19 years old and says both were shot to death.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office released the following:
On Friday, December 3, 2021 at about 0225 hours, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted and notified of a shooting investigation located in the 700 block of Cumberland Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the scene reference a man down investigation. Two individuals were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Three Rivers Ambulance Authority medics arrived on scene and pronounced death.
The deceased have been positively identified and autopsies have been completed. The next of kin have been notified of the deaths.
The deceased are identified as Brendan Steave Cole, male hispanic 19 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Brendan Steave Cole is the 42nd Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
Juan Jose Ramirez, Jr. male hispanic 16 years of age, from Ypsilanti, Michigan. Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Juan Jose Ramirez, Jr. is the 43rd Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutors Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police say two men were found dead early Friday morning at a Cumberland Avenue home, off North Clinton, close to Parnell.
Around 2:30 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Cumberland after a person was found in a garage. Police say that when officers got there, they found two men who were both pronounced dead by paramedics.

FWPD officials released the following on the death investigation now in progress:
On Friday, 12/03/2021, at approximately 2:24 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 700 block of Cumberland Ave in regards to a person down found in a garage.
When officers arrived and located two adult male victims. Paramedics pronounced both of the victims deceased at the scene.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene in an effort to obtain additional details.
